The offshore wind sector has seen recent developments in service agreements and vessel design. Njord Survey entered a three-year framework agreement with RWE Offshore Wind to provide carbon-neutral seabed investigation services using remotely operated vehicles (ROV) across European and UK waters.

In a separate collaboration, Cadeler and Vattenfall signed a memorandum of understanding to explore operations and maintenance (O&M) solutions, specifically targeting efficient methods for major component exchanges on turbine platforms. 

Additionally, Ulstein Design & Solutions secured two new design contracts, one of which involves the design and equipment supply for an offshore wind vessel for a Japanese company.
