The aerospace company OHB SE is replacing steel trader Klöckner & Co SE in the SDAX index. This change follows the acquisition of Klöckner & Co by the US-based firm Worthington Steel, which initiated a delisting offer of eleven euros per share. 

OHB SE CEO Marco Fuchs described the inclusion as a milestone reflecting the company’s development and the increasing importance of the European space and defense sectors. The company recently completed a 484 million euro capital increase to expand manufacturing capacity and invest in launch vehicles. Following this capital increase, the Fuchs family maintains majority ownership with over 60% of shares, while the free float has risen to approximately 18%.
