No. 4/5 Ohio State and No. 5/4 Indiana are preparing for a high-stakes Big Ten rematch on Oct. 17 at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. This contest marks the first top-5 matchup in the history of the venue.

Indiana enters the game with a 22-game winning streak, the longest national streak since Georgia’s 2021-23 run. Head coach Curt Cignetti, who has reached 30 wins in his first 32 games as a Power 4 coach, leads one of only nine remaining undefeated FBS teams. Following a recent road victory against Nebraska, Cignetti praised his team’s ability to execute in tough environments while acknowledging the talent of the Ohio State program.

Ohio State, coming off a 45-16 win over Maryland, remains a decisive favorite due to superior athleticism and key players like Jeremiah Smith. Indiana player Isaiah Jones noted the importance of defensive momentum and mentioned a personal connection to the Buckeyes, as his father played for the program. The winner of this matchup will gain a significant advantage in the Big Ten title race and the pursuit of a College Football Playoff spot.
