The company launched ‘OKX Shield’, a security product suite designed to protect users against account takeover (ATO) fraud. This service provides tiered reimbursement for lost assets, ranging from €100,000 for standard users to up to €500,000 for qualifying VIP4+ customers, provided they activate the service and maintain specific safeguards.

Following this, OKX released its 47th monthly Proof of Reserves (PoR) report, which verified that its eight major assets maintained reserve ratios of 100 percent or higher, with total primary assets valued at US$27.4 billion as of September 8, 2026. Additionally, the exchange is deploying the ‘OKX Protect’ system, which utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect suspicious activities, fraud, and identity masking attempts.
