Ukrainian volleyball player Oleksandr Boiko has signed with the Czech club Jihostroj České Budějovice for the 2026/27 season. Boiko, a 23-year-old libero, joins the team to replace Michael Kovařík.

Boiko brings significant experience to the roster, having won four consecutive Ukrainian Superliga titles with Prometey Dnipro and Epicentr-Podolyany Horodok. He was also recognized as the best libero in the Ukrainian Superliga for the 2025/26 season. An international player, he has represented the Ukrainian national team in the 2025 VNL and the 2024 Golden European League. He is expected to join the club following preparations for the European Championship.
