Singer Olivia Dean has commenced the Australian and New Zealand legs of her ‘The Art of Loving’ world tour.

The tour began with two sold-out performances at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, featuring a nine-piece band and a theatrical set design inspired by 1970s chat shows. The performances drew on themes from her latest album regarding the complexities of love.

Following the Melbourne shows, the tour moved to Auckland. Due to high demand, the scheduled concert at Spark Arena was upgraded to the newly reopened Western Springs Bowl (Te Wai Ōrea), marking the first major event at the transformed venue. The tour has also influenced local fashion trends, with fans adopting ‘method dressing’ inspired by Dean’s retro and whimsical aesthetic.
