Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman conducted a state visit to the United Kingdom in October 2026, involving high-level diplomatic engagements at Windsor Castle.

On October 20, Princess Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended a State Banquet in honor of the Sultan. The event represented the first diplomatic meeting of this magnitude between the British monarchy and an Omani Sultan since 1982.

During subsequent receptions, the Princess of Wales appeared alongside King Charles, Queen Camilla, and Prince William. Her attire included an emerald green Alexander McQueen coat intended to honor the Omani flag, and she wore the historic Prince of Wales Feathers Brooch, a diamond and emerald piece originally presented to Princess Alexandra of Denmark in 1863.
