Production details have emerged for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Amu Meguro’s manga, which has over 1.6 million copies in circulation. The film is scheduled for release on December 4.

Initial announcements confirmed Taishu Niihara as a supporting cast member playing Amamiya, a rookie assistant producer. The production features Masaki Hashimoto of the group timelesz in his first leading role. 

Subsequent updates released production stills and behind-the-scenes photos. Producers noted that Hashimoto was chosen for the lead role due to his striking resemblance to the character, specifically citing that a mole on his face is in the “exact same position” as the character. The cast also includes Runa Kumada, Runa Nakajima, and Reo Matsumoto, with Masato Kimura directing and Shochiku handling distribution.
