Swedish metal band Orbit Culture has released the deluxe edition of their album, ‘Death Above Life’.

In anticipation of the October 9 release, the band released a new single and music video for ‘Nuclear God’, which features footage from summer festivals. The deluxe edition includes four additional tracks: ‘Nuclear God’, ‘Spiral Head’, and ‘The Form Not Meant To Be’.

A notable feature of the release is a new version of the track ‘The Path I Walk’, which includes a collaboration with cellist Tina Guo. The band noted that while they initially used MIDI programming with Guo’s sample library, her live performance added a level of emotion that “significantly transformed the song”.

The release is accompanied by a new touring cycle, including dates in Europe with Amon Amarth and in the United States and Canada with Trivium. The album is available in various formats, including limited edition 2LP vinyl and 2CD mediabooks.
