The Sovereign Military Order of Malta is preparing to hold its National Day on October 10. The event will take place across 42 Italian squares, marking the highest number of participating locations since the initiative began in 2018.

In various cities, including Catania, Siracusa, and Ragusa, members and volunteers will showcase the organization’s healthcare, social, and relief activities. The program offers citizens free health screenings—such as blood glucose, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation measurements—alongside first aid demonstrations and information on volunteer opportunities.

Lorenzo Borghese, president of the Association of Italian Knights of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, noted that the record number of locations reflects the organization’s widespread presence in Italy and its dedication to serving vulnerable populations.
