Legal proceedings regarding organized crime and violent offenses have continued in Montenegro and Serbia.

In Montenegro, the Supreme Court extended the detention of Predrag Vukadinović, Zoran Perović, and Miloš Božović for three months. The suspects are allegedly part of a criminal organization established in 2020 that operated across Montenegro, Albania, and Greece. The group is accused of committing serious murders to acquire illegal wealth and power, with specific roles including monitoring rivals, procuring weapons, and providing logistical support such as encrypted phones and safe houses.

In Serbia, the Belgrade Appellate Court ruled to return three suspects—Mario S., Nenad L., and Dejan S.—to custody at the Belgrade District Prison. This decision follows an appeal regarding the May 2026 murder of Aleksandar Nešović at a restaurant in Senjak. The ruling overturns a previous decision that had allowed the suspects to remain under house arrest with electronic monitoring. The prosecution cited flight risks and the potential for repeated offenses as grounds for the return to custody.
