The Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art is hosting the ‘NHK Sunday Museum 50th Anniversary Exhibition,’ which showcases over 140 works from approximately 60 masters to celebrate half a century of the NHK fine arts program. The exhibition includes works by Salvador Dalí and Jakuchu Ito, alongside archival footage of the program.

Concurrently, the Osaka Nakanoshima Museum and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Osaka (NMAO) are advancing a collaborative project known as ‘KoreNaka.’ This initiative involves a satellite exhibition at the Nakanoshima venue featuring artists such as Chiharu Shiota and Yasumasa Morimura. To further the partnership, a symposium titled ‘Museums and Collections: Collecting, Preserving, and Opening’ is scheduled for November 3, 2026, to discuss the role of museum collections.
