Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın has engaged in various local community and economic initiatives in Bursa.

On October 19, the Mayor met with local mukhtars to mark Mukhtars Day, emphasizing their role as the ‘cornerstones of democracy’ and their importance in communicating citizen needs to the municipality.

Following this, the municipality organized the ‘Women Entrepreneurs Republic Street’ event at Şehreküstü Square to coincide with the 103rd anniversary of the Republic. The initiative provided stalls for women’s cooperatives and associations to sell handmade and regional goods, aiming to foster economic independence and integrate female producers into the local economy.
