The Ospreys secured their first United Rugby Championship victory of the season by defeating the Dragons 38-31 at Rodney Parade. The match was a physical Welsh derby characterized by fluctuating leads and several player injuries.

Following this victory, the Ospreys announced their return to a redeveloped St Helen’s venue for a home match against the Dragons. This move follows a joint investment agreement with Swansea Council to transform the historic seafront site, which will serve as a home for both the Ospreys and Swansea RFC.
