Pakistan has officially denied reports alleging that its air force is participating in military operations against Ansar Allah (Houthi) forces in Yemen. The Pakistani Ministry of Information and Broadcasting dismissed claims published by The New York Times as ‘fake and fabricated,’ cautioning international media against speculation regarding the use of Pakistani forces.

These denials follow the formation of the Makkah Joint Defense Alliance, a pact signed on August 7 by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. The alliance is designed to strengthen collective deterrence, with members agreeing to treat an attack on one as an attack on all. While the alliance has moved into an implementation phase to increase military integration and rapid deployment capabilities, Islamabad has not confirmed any specific combat deployments or the use of aircraft in the Yemeni conflict.
