Opposition parties in Pakistan are organizing an All Parties Conference (APC) to address national issues including the economy, inflation, law and order, and the potential creation of new provinces. Initially, leaders from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) met to discuss political cooperation and a potential protest movement. This effort aimed to establish a joint opposition within the Senate and National Assembly. Subsequently, the Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Ain Pakistan (TTAP), representing various opposition groups, extended an invitation to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to attend the conference. The TTAP's objectives for the meeting include discussing the supremacy of the Constitution and strengthening democratic institutions. The PPP indicated it would consult its chairman, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, regarding the invitation. The conference is intended to take place following scheduled protests by the PTI. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-29: Pakistan Peoples Party to consult Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on opposition conference invitation The Pakistan Peoples Party will consult Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on an invitation to join an opposition-led All Parties Conference organized by the TTAP alliance. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/pakistan-peoples-party-to-consult-bilawal-bhutto-zardari-on-opposition-conference-invitation ### 2026-09-11: Pakistan opposition plans All Parties Conference on economy and new provinces Pakistani opposition parties, including PTI and JUI-F, are forming a joint platform and planning an All Parties Conference to discuss inflation, law and order, and the creation of new provinces. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/pakistan-opposition-plans-all-parties-conference-on-economy-and-new-provinces --- Cite as: Pakistan opposition All Parties Conference planning.
