Palacký University Olomouc has expanded its focus on artificial intelligence and research across various academic disciplines. 

In September, the university hosted the seventh annual Czech School of Physiotherapy and Occupation Therapy. The program integrated AI into rehabilitation training, teaching international students to use AI assistants for medical histories and therapy proposals while emphasizing the critical assessment of AI-generated data.

By October, the university’s AI initiatives extended to social entrepreneurship through the AURORA seizmic KIC project, which utilizes AI to address social problems and support sustainable production in the Olomouc region. Additionally, researchers from the Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology applied for European Research Council grants, including a project named DYNAMOOD aimed at training AI to test theories of depression.
