Panasonic has restructured its European heating and cooling operations following the April 2026 establishment of Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. This global entity consolidates the company’s heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and cold chain activities.

To support this realignment, the company is investing in regional manufacturing, research and development, and training. This includes a €320 million investment to expand and modernize a net-zero heat pump plant in Pilsen, Czech Republic, which will focus on production and R&D for products like the Aquarea M-series. 

Furthermore, Panasonic has formed a strategic partnership with Austrian company EnerCube GmbH. EnerCube will integrate Panasonic’s ‘Big Aquarea M-series’ air-to-water heat pumps into its prefabricated heating centers designed for residential building renovations.
