Developments: 5. Panathinaikos sports entities have announced ticket sales for upcoming matches across various competitions. For the UEFA Conference League, Panathinaikos FC scheduled ticket sales for an away match against Kairat Almaty on September 21, 2026. Priority access was granted to 2026/27 season ticket holders via Gov Wallet codes for the first 24 hours, with a limit of two named tickets per transaction. Away block tickets were priced at 8 euros and issued as nominative e-tickets. Following a 2-1 victory against Borac Banja Luka, the team traveled to Almaty to face Kairat at the Almaty Central Stadium under Dutch referee Arlind Lindhout. Despite selection challenges involving injuries to Azzedine Ounahi and Adriano Jakupovic, Panathinaikos secured a commanding 5-1 victory against Kairat Almaty on the second matchday of the Conference League League Phase. Goals were scored by Vicente Tangorda (6’), Cyril Désertés (24’ penalty and 47’), Kings Kangwa (57’), and Elmin Rastoder (75’), while Bekbolat scored a consolation goal for Kairat in the 79th minute. Led by coach Jacob Neestrup, the team achieved a perfect start with two wins from two matches, earning six points. This victory also provides a financial boost, as UEFA awards 400,000 euros per win, bringing the club’s total projected European revenue to approximately 6.8 million euros. The team now prepares for its next European fixture against CSKA Sofia on November 5. Cyriel Dessers emerged as a standout performer during the 5-1 victory, scoring twice and winning a penalty. His performance brought his total to six goals in the Conference League this season, tying him for the all-time leading scorer in the competition’s history with 13 goals in 15 appearances. The Nigerian international has reached eight goals in 13 appearances across all competitions this season. ## Claims - Tickets for the Panathinaikos vs. Aris match are available for purchase.
