The PAOK sports club has announced several athlete acquisitions and contract renewals for the 2026–27 season across multiple departments.

In the handball department, the club extended the contract of Egyptian international Feras Ragab. Additionally, the water polo team signed Dutch talent Giri Van der Veen.

Further recruitment includes the futsal department, which signed former professional football player Stelios Pozatzidis. In the volleyball department, the club has secured two significant signings: Serbian opposite hitter Dušan Petković and Iranian middle blocker Mahdi Jelve. 

Petković, 34, joins following an international career in leagues including Serbia, France, Qatar, Italy, Poland, and Russia, where he was the top scorer in Italy’s Serie A1 for two consecutive seasons. Jelve, born in 2001, brings experience from the Iranian Super League, Turkey’s Fenerbahçe, and a championship-winning period with Olympiacos in Greece.
