The Military Firefighters Corps of Paraná (CBMPR) inaugurated ‘Cidade do Fogo’, a new fire combat training center located at the Military Firefighter Academy of Paraná (ABMPR) in São José dos Pinhais. The project represented an investment of R$ 4.3 million.

The facility utilizes four independent simulators to replicate various enclosed environments, such as residences and commercial buildings, to prepare personnel for complex urban fire scenarios. These modules allow for simultaneous exercises and enhanced flame control.

The center aims to train 700 firefighters and conduct 120 simulated fire exercises by the end of 2026.
