The Mayor's Office of Pasto has completed a characterization process for informal vendors operating in the city's central area. The initiative, carried out by the Administrative Directorate of Public Space, identified 140 vendors located between Carrera 20-23 and Calle 15-16.

This process, which utilized 105 variables per vendor to assess vulnerability and technical criteria, was conducted in compliance with a 2025 Constitutional Court sentence. The data collected will transition to the Secretariat of Economic Development for a new phase involving the evaluation of relocation options, labor reconversion, and institutional support to facilitate the organized recovery of public space.
