Peacock has announced the second season of the reality series ‘Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together’, scheduled to premiere on November 19. The upcoming season consists of eight episodes that will be released simultaneously.

The series follows musicians Nelly and Ashanti as they manage marriage, parenthood, and their professional lives. Key themes include Ashanti’s efforts to re-record her debut album to reclaim ownership of her musical masters, a move inspired by Taylor Swift’s efforts to reclaim her musical legacy. Nelly’s storylines include reflections on the physical and emotional toll of his touring career and dealing with an unexpected family loss.

Additional storylines involve the couple navigating the geographical distance between St. Louis and New York and managing separate touring schedules. A season trailer features the couple attending the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, with appearances by artists including Fat Joe, Ja Rule, and Jadakiss.

While promoting the series on ‘Good Day New York’, the duo also announced plans for a joint tour in 2027, though specific dates and details have not yet been released.
