PT Pegadaian (Persero) has been expanding its gold-based financial services and digital investment reach in Indonesia. In late July 2026, the company hosted a gold literacy and digital investment fair in Makassar to promote its “Tring!” digital platform and its bullion bank services, which were launched in February 2025.

In August 2026, the company entered a strategic collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia) through a Memorandum of Understanding titled “Kolaborasi Strategis Kadin dan Pegadaian untuk MengEMASkan Indonesia”. Signed by Kadin Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie and Pegadaian President Director Damar Latri Setiawan, the partnership aims to provide MSMEs, large corporations, and the general public with increased access to gold-based savings, investment, and business financing tools via the “Tring by Pegadaian” application.

Additionally, Pegadaian partnered with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) to launch a digital gold savings service. Integrated with the “Tring!” application, the service is accessible through the myBCA application and web version. This collaboration allows customers to invest in small fractional amounts, offering a practical alternative to physical gold bars amid rising gold prices.
