Scott Morrison has returned to the senior coaching role at Peninsula Strikers following the departures of Ross Walliss and Ben Sharland. Morrison previously held the position for three years before a departure cited as being due to the “emotional toll of the role and family commitments”.

To support his return, the club established a new coaching structure featuring Jason Symonds as assistant and Wayne ‘Buzzer’ Gordon as playing assistant. Following a difficult season that resulted in the senior program being relegated to State 3 South-East and the reserve program finishing in last place, Morrison has initiated a significant squad rebuild ahead of the club’s 60th anniversary. Several players, including Gordon, Stevie Elliott, Ben Caballero, and Jai Power, have agreed to terms for the upcoming season.
