Debates regarding the philosophical identity and political viability of Peronism have emerged in Argentina. Academic discussions at the University of La Plata have analyzed Justicialism as a formal philosophical system, examining its ethical and metaphysical frameworks in the lead-up to the Day of Loyalty.

Simultaneously, political leaders are addressing the movement's future through calls for reform and opposition strategy. While some figures emphasize the need for opposition unity to challenge Peronist territorial advantages, others within the movement are calling for a reconstruction of Peronism. Specifically, Senate Vice President Carolina Moisés has distanced herself from Kirchnerism, arguing that the cycle is exhausted and that the movement must move beyond its current dogmatic state to address modern societal expectations.
