The Persian Gulf Pro League season has progressed through its early stages, with various teams competing for standings.

In early October, Sepahan occupied fifth place after seven weeks with 10 points from six matches. Following a FIFA-mandated break, former player Mehdi Jafarpour suggested the squad benefited from the pause, allowing for better integration of new players and improved coordination.

By the tenth week of the season, Esteghlal Khuzestan secured a 2-0 victory against Shams Azar Qazvin at Ghadir Stadium. Goals were scored by Javad Zargan and Seyed Mehdi Hosseini, moving Esteghlal Khuzestan to ninth place in the league standings with nine points.
