The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) confirmed that the Peruvian national football team will host Bolivia in a friendly match on Friday, November 13. The match is scheduled to begin at 20:00 local time at the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium, also known as Matute.

Jean Ferrari, the general director of the FPF, stated that the selection of the Alianza Lima venue over alternatives like the Estadio Monumental was based on stadium availability and scheduling. Ferrari noted that technical inspections showed similar pitch conditions across venues, but the workload of local clubs was a decisive factor. Specifically, Universitario de Deportes had four matches scheduled during that period, whereas Alianza Lima had two, making Matute a more convenient option for the technical staff. The match is part of the November FIFA international window and serves as preparation for the upcoming South American Qualifiers cycle.
