The Philippine national fencing team achieved significant success at the Southeast Asian Fencing Federation (SEAFF) Junior and Cadet Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, securing a total of 25 medals: five gold, seven silver, and 13 bronze.

Oscar del Castillo led the performance with a gold medal in the cadet men’s epee and a silver in the junior men’s epee. Other notable medalists included Willa Galvez, Hagia del Castillo, and several members of the junior women’s foil team. 

Following this performance, the Philippine junior fencing team has set its sights on qualifying for the World and Asian Junior and Cadet Championships.
