Photography events in Poland include upcoming festivals and various exhibitions showcasing historical and contemporary works.

The Fotoforma Festival is scheduled for October 5 and 6, 2026, in Warsaw, focusing on documentary, street, and portrait photography alongside new technologies like AI and industry business practices. Meanwhile, the ‘Światłoczułe opowieści’ festival in Chełm recently concluded, featuring exhibitions such as cyanotypes by young creators.

Exhibitions are also highlighting archival photography. The National Museum in Warsaw is displaying 19th-century works by Józef Czechowicz, including original glass negatives. In Chojnice, Zbigniew Prochowski is presenting ‘Odkurzone fotografie’ (Dusted Photographs), which documents regional transformations and historical televised sports tournaments from the 1970s and 1980s.
