Various jazz musicians are performing tribute concerts dedicated to the late Neapolitan singer-songwriter Pino Daniele across Italy.

In Locri, musicians Fabrizio Bosso and Julian Oliver Mazzariello are scheduled to perform ‘Il cielo è pieno di stelle – Omaggio a Pino Daniele’ at the Palazzo della Cultura on November 1, 2026. This event opens the Zefiro in Jazz 2026 festival and focuses on reinterpreting Daniele’s legacy through blues, rock, funk, and jazz improvisation.

In Catanzaro, Cuban jazz pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba will perform ‘Gonzalo Plays Pino’ at the Teatro Politeama ‘Mario Foglietti’ on October 30, 2026, as part of the 23rd Festival d’Autunno. Rubalcaba’s performance aims to blend Neapolitan melodies with Afro-Cuban rhythms.
