Naples is hosting various events to honor the musical heritage of the late artist Pino Daniele. As part of the Affabulazione 2026 program, the Fenice Festival scheduled the performance ‘Blues For Pino’ for October 30, featuring a reimagining of Daniele’s classics by former band members.

In conjunction with these musical tributes, the biographical film ‘Je so’ pazzo’, directed by Nicola Prosatore, was released in 400 Italian theaters. Based on a book by Alessandro Daniele, the film depicts the artist’s life from a difficult childhood in Naples to his musical rise with Napoli Centrale, culminating in a landmark 1981 concert. While some critics have praised Massimiliano Caiazzo’s portrayal of the lead role, others have noted difficulties in capturing the musician’s full complexity.
