The Pokémon Company and NOT A HOTEL have announced a collaboration to launch a Poké Ball-themed accommodation in Hokkaido, Japan, scheduled for September 2026. Titled ‘Stay in a Poké Ball’ or ‘A Poké Ball You Can Stay In’, the project features a large-scale spherical structure situated in a natural landscape.

Linked to the sleep-tracking application Pokémon Sleep, the project aims to connect digital sleep-tracking mechanics with a physical environment. The accommodation is expected to include high-end architecture, such as panoramic windows and a large circular bed. 

Rather than offering standard commercial bookings, the experience will be managed through a special application or giveaway campaign for selected winners to drive brand engagement.
