In early September, the Turkish company Aselsan signed a contract with Polish firm AMZ Kutno to supply Arsus reconnaissance and surveillance systems. This agreement, finalized during the MSPO 2026 International Defense Industry Exhibition, expands an existing partnership that integrates these systems into Polish KLR Kleszcz armored reconnaissance vehicles. Aselsan intends to maintain a local presence in Poland to develop technical solutions and cooperate with Polish defense institutions. By late September, the Polish Armament Agency secured additional contracts. Domestic subsidiary Mesko was awarded a contract to supply 3,000 units of A-2A28S blank cartridges for saluting guns between 2026 and 2029. Concurrently, through Foreign Military Sales procedures, Poland is set to receive spare parts for the AIM-120 AMRAAM guided missile family following a 105.6 million USD agreement between the U.S. Department of Defense and RTX. These components are required for the operation of missiles used by Poland’s F-16 and F-35 aircraft. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-27: Defense procurement: Mesko and RTX secure military supply contracts Poland's Armament Agency has contracted Mesko for blank cartridges, while the U.S. Department of Defense signed a 105.6 million USD deal with RTX for AIM-120 AMRAAM spare parts, benefiting Polish aviation. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/defense-procurement-mesko-and-rtx-secure-military-supply-contracts ### 2026-09-08: Aselsan signs contract to supply Arsus surveillance systems to Poland Turkish defense firm Aselsan signed a contract with Poland's AMZ Kutno to supply additional Arsus reconnaissance and surveillance systems during the MSPO 2026 exhibition. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/aselsan-signs-contract-to-supply-arsus-surveillance-systems-to-poland --- Cite as: Poland defense procurement and industry cooperation.
