The Ministry of National Defence has begun drafting legislation to establish a ‘pre-war state’ framework. This law aims to bridge the gap between peacetime and martial law, enhancing coordination between military and internal security services. Key provisions include facilitating the movement of Polish and allied troops, integrating defense plans with the NATO Response System, and addressing modern threats like hybrid warfare and cyberattacks. Parallel discussions have emerged regarding military spending and civil preparedness. Political figures have debated the prioritization of defense budgets and the potential implications of conscription.
