In Porto Seguro, Bahia, a joint operation by the Civil and Military Police in the Vera Cruz district led to a confrontation that resulted in three deaths. The intervention was initiated following reports of an execution, after which suspects reportedly fled toward Pindorama using high-caliber firearms.

During the operation, police established a blockade on the BR-367 highway. Following an exchange of gunfire with suspects in a Volkswagen Voyage and several motorcycles, wounded individuals were transported to a local hospital. Authorities seized two 5.56 caliber rifles with suppressed serial numbers, two pistols, ammunition, a ballistic vest cover, a balaclava, and mobile phones. A second confrontation occurred during an attempt to intercept a Hyundai Creta, which was seized after the occupants fled into a wooded area.
