The Industrial Development Agency (ARP) has launched the ‘Gotowi na Offshore’ (Ready for Offshore) program to assist Polish companies in entering the Baltic Sea offshore wind energy supply chain. Developed in collaboration with the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, PGE Baltica, and Orlen Neptun, the initiative provides training and financing to enhance technological and organizational competencies.

To support Poland’s national energy goals—which target 5.9 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030 and 18 GW by 2040—the ARP intends to allocate up to 100 million PLN through investment loans, leasing, and support for EU-funded projects. The program aims to help domestic firms secure contracts in a market where the government estimates local companies could account for 40% of the total investment value, estimated at approximately 500 billion PLN.

In September 2026, Ocean Winds commenced construction of an operations and maintenance (O&M) base in Władysławowo to support its BC-Wind offshore wind farm. The facility, which will serve as a logistical hub for approximately 30 years, includes roughly 1,200 square meters of office, storage, and dispatching space. The BC-Wind project, Ocean Winds’ first in the Baltic Sea, consists of 26 turbines with a planned capacity of up to 390 MW, intended to power over 488,000 Polish households. Przembud Gdańsk S. A. is serving as the general contractor for the base construction.
