Polish traffic police continue to receive specialized equipment to improve road safety and enforcement effectiveness. This modernization includes BMW M340i xDrive patrol vehicles, featuring 3.0-liter six-cylinder engines producing nearly 400 HP and xDrive all-wheel drive, alongside LTI 20/20 TruCam II laser speed meters.

The acquisition is part of a larger initiative to deliver 100 high-performance patrol cars, funded through the ‘Pomagamy i chronimy’ (We Help and Protect) project and co-financed by the European Union via the FEnIKS program. 

Following initial deliveries in the Podkarpackie region to Rzeszów and in Bielsko-Biała, the rollout has expanded. In the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region, five BMW M340i xDrive patrol cars were delivered to stations in Bydgoszcz, Włocławek, Nakle nad Notecią, Świecie, and Żnin. 

Additionally, fleet upgrades have been noted in the Chrzanów district, where nine new vehicles—including Toyota RAV4, Corolla Cross, Corolla, and Kia Sportage models—were added. Six of these vehicles were funded through cooperation with local governments to support units in Chrzanów, Trzebinia, Libiąż, and Alwernia.
