Polish police forces have engaged in various specialized training programs to enhance intervention capabilities and combat organized crime.

In Grudziądz, preventive service officers completed a five-day course focused on managing unpredictable interventions. This training included the legal use of firearms and direct coercion, first aid for intense bleeding, and tactics for handling aggressive individuals or those experiencing mental health crises.

Subsequently, counter-terrorism units from multiple cities, including Warsaw and Lublin, conducted intensive tactical training in Marynin. Led by veterans of the Commando Military Unit, this program emphasized firearms proficiency through dynamic shooting and combat in confined spaces. The initiative is part of the ‘New challenges – effective actions – increasing Police competence in combating organized crime’ project, supported by the Internal Security Fund.
