Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz entered a public dispute with journalist Krzysztof Stanowski regarding the allocation of EU Recovery and Resilience Facility (KPO) funds. 

After Pełczyńska-Nałęcz announced that 35 billion PLN from the KPO had arrived in Poland—with another 55 billion PLN expected by year-end—she stated the money is earmarked for essential services such as nurseries, public transport, social housing, and infrastructure in small towns. Stanowski, head of Kanał Zero, responded with a video filmed on a luxury yacht, leading Pełczyńska-Nałęcz to accuse him of mocking investments meant for working families and underserved areas. Stanowski has maintained his position regarding the management of these funds.
