Sports infrastructure projects in Poland are receiving significant government funding for modernization and new construction. In Piła, a sports hall on Żeromskiego Street is undergoing a 7.5 million PLN renovation, supported by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Wielkopolska Voivodeship Marshal's Office. Upgrades include new sports surfaces, electronic scoreboards, sound systems, air conditioning, and energy-efficiency improvements.

Expanding on these efforts, Minister of Sport and Tourism Jakub Rutnicki announced further allocations. These include 25 million PLN for a new sports hall at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków, with a specific requirement that underground levels be designed to serve as “emergency shelters” to enhance national security. Additionally, over 1.3 million PLN has been designated for modernizing school gymnasiums in Tarnowskie Góry County, alongside funding for a skatepark and other local infrastructure.
