Slovak authorities in Bratislava detained three Polish nationals suspected of involvement in a fatal assault in the Nowa Huta district of Krakow, Poland. The incident, which occurred between August 20 and 21, resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man.

Following an intelligence-led operation, the Bratislava Regional Criminal Police and the Emergency Police Unit apprehended the suspects at an apartment in the Petržalka district. According to police spokesperson Michal Szeiff, two of the men were already subjects of an international search for extradition by Krakow authorities, while the third suspect was identified as a missing minor. The individuals have been transferred to the relevant police department for processing and handover to Polish investigators.
