Polish universities are engaging in various academic, strategic, and community-focused initiatives. In mid-October, institutions such as the Białystok University of Technology and the Warsaw University of Technology branch in Płock hosted competitions for student theses. These contests focused on urban development, spatial planning, and the economic and social modernization of cities like Białystok and Płock.

By late October, institutional focus shifted toward long-term strategic planning and academic recognition. The Senate of Białystok University of Technology approved a Social Responsibility Strategy for 2026–2030, emphasizing sustainability, internationalization, and digitalization. Concurrently, the University of Szczecin held meetings to honor faculty members for scientific excellence and recognize long-term staff contributions.
