In Poland, local communities and educational institutions have launched initiatives to combat peer violence and cyberbullying among youth.

In Gołdap, the ‘STOP HEJT’ march was held to protest hate speech and digital aggression, involving students, residents, and local police. The initiative coincided with the International Day of Non-Violence, highlighting the need for community vigilance against psychological manipulation and social exclusion.

Following these efforts, educational programs expanded to schools in Kotuń and Mielec. Lectures focused on the psychological impact of hate speech and the influence of social media algorithms on student behavior. Concurrently, police officers conducted sessions regarding the legal consequences of harassment, emphasizing that online actions carry real-world accountability for minors.

These prevention efforts have since expanded into broader Peer Violence Prevention Weeks across various regions, including Pietrowice Wielkie. These programs feature workshops on the responsibilities of digital citizens and the mechanics of social media algorithms. In Poznań, the ‘Poznań addicted to prevention’ project has introduced musical theater as a medium to help parents and teenagers navigate topics such as loneliness and emotional pressure.

Recent operations have further integrated law enforcement into these preventive frameworks. In Częstochowa, police lectures were combined with theatrical productions to address peer pressure and alcohol risks among students. Meanwhile, Peer Violence Prevention Weeks continue in locations such as Pietrowice Wielkie, utilizing debates, educational films, and workshops to combat cyberbullying.
