In mid-October 2026, consumer electronics companies Aurzen and VANKYO released new portable mini projectors. The initial releases included the Aurzen E1R, a lightweight device with a 180-degree adjustable stand, and the VANKYO Leisure 3R, a tube-shaped projector featuring vertical keystone correction. Both models offered native 720p resolution and integrated streaming capabilities.

Following these launches, Aurzen introduced the Zip Pro, a second-generation portable projector. This model features a compact, three-part Z-shaped folding design intended to fit in a pocket. The Zip Pro offers technical improvements over previous portable models, including native Full HD 1080p resolution, 200 ANSI lumens of brightness, and a touchscreen interface. It also includes specialized connectivity via USB-C for gaming devices and low-latency modes.
