The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) was ordered by the South Central Administrative Court (TCAS) to reintegrate the Sintra-based club 1.º de Dezembro into the 2026/2027 Campeonato de Portugal. The club had been initially excluded due to licensing failures involving unpaid debts to players and coaches.

While the FPF expressed indignation, claiming the ruling “puts into question the integrity, loyalty, transparency and sporting truth of the competitions,” the federation confirmed it would comply with the judicial order.
