# Portuguese hospitality industry awards nominations

Portuguese hospitality businesses have secured 119 nominations for the World Travel Awards 2026, spanning 81 different hotels, resorts, and residences. 

In the Algarve, OMonte Santo Resort leads the country with six nominations, including categories for ‘Best All-Inclusive Resort’ and ‘Most Romantic Resort’, followed by Pine Cliffs, a Luxury Collection Resort with four nominations. Other notable nominees include the 1908 Lisboa Hotel, EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel, and Vila Vita Parc. 

In Vila Nova de Gaia, the Vinha Boutique Hotel has been nominated for ‘Portugal’s Best Boutique Hotel’. The winners are scheduled to be announced at the Europe Gala Ceremony on October 17, 2026, in Kotor, Montenegro.
