In October 2026, various Portuguese sports organizations were recognized for their contributions to the sporting community.

The Portuguese Association of Football Referees (APAF) held its IV Gala to honor over 80 referees, assistant referees, and observers across football, futsal, and beach soccer for the 2025/2026 season. Notable honorees included members from the Bragança Football Association and the Henrique Silva Football Referees Nucleus.

Additionally, the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ) presented the 2026 Ethics Flag Good Practices Awards.
