In Castrovillari, Mayor Anna De Gaio and the UGL union have raised alarms over the possible suppression of the local branch, noting it serves as a vital hub for the Pollino area and that its closure could negatively impact employment and service quality. 

In Sicily, the merger of the Enna and Caltanissetta directorates has prompted a parliamentary inquiry by MP Maria Stefania Marino to ensure service continuity. Marino argued that postal offices are “essential community outposts” that cannot be managed solely through organizational charts. 

Further reorganization has reached Grosseto, where the local administration has requested guarantees following the decision to close the local branch directorate and transfer its functions to Siena. The Cisal trade union has also voiced concerns that reducing services in smaller areas could lead to difficulties for users and worsened working conditions for employees.
