# PremiAir Racing driver changes

PremiAir Racing has undergone a driver change in the Supercars Championship, replacing Declan Fraser with Cooper Murray. The decision follows inconsistent performance from Fraser, who sat 21st in the standings, and a notable performance gap between him and teammate Jayden Ojeda. Following the Bathurst 1000, where Murray finished sixth and Fraser finished 18th, Fraser was released from his seat. 

Fraser expressed disappointment regarding the suddenness of the move, stating, ‘My time with PremiAir Racing has come to an early end. This wasn’t my decision.’ 

Murray has signed a long-term contract with PremiAir Racing to compete through the 2027 and 2028 seasons. As a result of Murray’s departure from Erebus Motorsport, Erebus has promoted academy graduate Jarrod Hughes to a full-time seat for the remainder of the season.
